Important Update: Pecu Novus Wallet and Terminal Upgrade, Upgraded Nodes in Progress
Dear Pecu Novus Community,
We are excited to announce significant upgrades to the Pecu Wallet and Terminal, including offline cold storage of PECU coins and tokens created on the Pecu Novus Blockchain. However, we regret to inform you that the downloading of upgraded nodes will not be available just yet. Rest assured, the Pecu Novus team is working diligently to provide both a simple node solution and a more developer-centric option for installation directly on Linux machines in the coming weeks.
Our goal has always been to create not only a simple blockchain for basic transactions but also a robust, scalable, secure, and growth-oriented blockchain that the community can build on for decades to come. In line with this vision, we are committed to involving the development community in the process of making Pecu Novus the best blockchain it can be.
To understand the direction you have to understand the past as it relates to the Pecu Novus Blockchain Network. Since 2017 the network was focused on building the way the creators envisioned but in doing so it needed to involve the developer community, which they delayed doing for their reasons.
We do recognize that the network was not the friendliest for developers to work with in the past. Therefore, the current team fought very hard to be granted permission and access to enhance Pecu Novus according to the original vision by the creators Vin and Sri. In 2022, the current growing team undertook the task of rebuilding the entire Pecu Novus Blockchain Network from the bare bones due to the basic abandonment of the project’s upgrades and modernization by its original creators in 2020.
We appreciate the patience and support that the community has shown us throughout this journey. Together, we are making Pecu Novus the most secure, swift, scalable, and robust blockchain network possible. As we prepare to open the floodgates for greater developer involvement, we ask for your continued patience.
In the coming weeks, we will release tools to allow the developer community to contribute, build on Pecu Novus, participate in bug bounty programs, and truly become part of the story of Pecu Novus moving forward.
